NECSO-Hip Hing-China State - JV -
. The JV was the major contractor on the recently
completed KCRC East Rail.
With thousands
of office files, scanned image documents, emails,
digital photos, and CAD files online, the JV needed
a solution for real-time, off-site backup. The
office needed to run uninterrupted until the project
was complete. Not having data available or losing
data would have cost the JV millions of dollars.
Availl provided the real-time replication of data.
By the end of the project over 1.0 TG was under
management by Availl. |

created was available to the director as well as it
being automatically backed up to the office system.
Also all office files were replicated off-site for
disaster recovery purposes. |

NETsolutions Asia
implements Availl technology to provide data
replication between Charles Monat's Hong Kong
and Singapore offices as well as complete disaster
recovery for both office. A Hong Kong based data
centre was used to host the Availl server with

J P Morgan
adopt Availl
technology to replicate and share MS Office files
between various Asian offices. This now ensures
staff in all locations have access to the most up to
date content. Some files can be shared in Read-Only
mode, others in bi-directional or Read-Write
collaboration fashion. Not using the email system to
transfer files between offices and the bandwidth
savings were a big plus! |
